Real Connections: Why Events Matter to Us

In 2025, industry events will be our main focus here at Workamajig. 

As of this writing, our team has already joined 4 events, and we’ve got a few more coming up. Most excitingly, we’ve got our very own Workamajig Project Management Bootcamp at the end of this month. 

So why all the focus on events? 

We just love connecting in person with the amazing people behind the agencies that are the backbone of our industry and the networks that support them. Our team gets to meet current clients and potential new ones and hear firsthand about their priorities, challenges, and updates. 

At a recent MAGNET event, succession was a hot topic - and not just thanks to Netflix’s hit show. Side note: David C. Baker has some great insights on this topic right here. Our team met three generations of the Flynn family, the founders of an agency that has been with Workamajig for 17 years. Building connections and relationships like this one makes everything we do worthwhile. 

In a world so full of information and news, it’s hard to stay focused and connected with the humans we work with daily. But we believe it’s the only way to succeed and thrive.
